Midwest SBL – Call for Papers

Greetings folks,

This is a notice (or reminder) that the Midwest Region of the Society of Biblical Literature, the Middle West Branch of the American Oriental Society, and the American Schools of Oriental Research-Midwest have scheduled their annual meeting for Friday-Sunday, February 10–12, 2017, at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame (South Bend), Indiana. The region will also host the Student Religious Studies Conference (SRSC) on Friday, February 10 – a much smaller, student-oriented conference usually held on Friday during the day, before the SBL/AAR sessions begin.

NOTE: This year, for whatever reason, the conference will not be held at Olivet Nazarene University. Click here to take you to the Midwest SBL website for more information.

The call for papers ends Saturday, December 3, so get those proposals in before the end-of-semester crunch, if you can. Let’s rally for a great Marquette turnout, as we have been able to attain in recent years. We are all in this together, people! Your success, as one representing Marquette, is our success.
